Sandy Park to play host to Rick Astley

Sandy Park are proud to announce their final headline act of this summer with the news that Ricky Astley will be heading to the Exeter venue.

Fans of the 80s pop icon will be thrilled to hear the singer is heading to the Westcountry, bringing his infectious energy and unforgettable hits to the latest ‘Party on the Pitch’ concert.

Astley, who shot to fame in the late 80s with his chart-topping hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up,’ has remained a beloved figure in the music industry for over three decades. His distinctive voice, catchy melodies and undeniable charm have earned him a legion of devoted fans around the world.

Now, those fans will have the chance to see Astley perform live in concert with a setlist that is sure to include all of his greatest hits, along with some of his latest material.

During his distinguished career, Astley has picked up numerous awards throughout the music industry, including a Brit Award in 1988, four Billboard Music Awards, three Ivor Novello Awards and, more recently, three Classic Pop Awards in 2018.

Astley is set to be joined on the stage on Sunday, June 18 by Lucy Spraggan.
