Summer Concerts 2023 - Party on the Pitch
Exeter’s Sandy Park Stadium is set to welcome some of music’s biggest names to the region this summer as it opens its doors to live outdoor concerts for the first time ever.
Adding to their already impressive portfolio of staged events, which include regularly hosting crowds in excess of 10,000 spectators for live Premiership and European rugby action, Party on the Pitch promises to offer a brilliant musical backdrop to your summer.
Staged over two separate weekends, the first confirmed artists heading to the Westcountry are Irish singer and songwriter Ronan Keating, who will be supported by Blue and East 17 on Saturday June 17.
Other big names are set to be confirmed in the coming weeks, creating a magical musical experience for people of all ages over the weekends of June 17/18 and June 24/25.
Having been granted permission by Exeter City Council’s licensing sub-committee earlier this month, Sandy Park have wasted little time in setting up their first venture into holding major outdoor concerts.
Natasha Pavis, Managing Director of Sandy Park Stadium, said she was delighted to unveil the Devon venue as a new musical outlet for the people of the Westcountry.
“This is a project we have been talking about for quite some time and now that it has become reality, we are looking to bringing some of music’s biggest names to Exeter each year,” she said. “Because the application was only recently granted, our team have had to work quickly to get our plans in place for this summer.
“The acts we have secured, however, we feel are a great fit for our first venture into staging musical events at Sandy Park. Getting that right mix of acts was high on our agenda and we feel we have put together two fantastic weekends of musical entertainment.”
As well as the sale of general tickets to the public, each concert will offer various hospitality packages to purchase. Find out more about Hospitality here!
