Guide to the Mitsubishi Motors Exeter 7s
The Mitsubishi Motors Exeter 7s returns to Sandy Park this weekend when Europe’s top international 7s teams will battle it out in the Rugby Europe Sevens Grand Prix Series.
Here is your guide to the two days of action in Exeter:

England head into the tournament off the back of winning bronze at the Marcoussis, France leg of the Rugby Europe Sevens Grand Prix Series, beating Russia 26-12 in the bronze game.
It was also a strong end to the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series for Simon Amor’s side as they reached the final on the last leg of the series in Paris but were beaten by Series champions South Africa.

Off the field
The weekend starts tomorrow night, when the Real Ale and Cider festival kicks off in the Wigwam Bar. Entry to this event is £8, which includes a commemorative cup and 3 drink tokens. There will also be live music from Not The Cowboys. Tickets can be bought for this event at www.sandypark.co.uk/book
The real ale and cider festival will run throughout the weekend, alongside a fan area which will include a bucking rugby ball, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, games and more. The Royal Marines will also have a large display area with several activities to try out.
The ticket office will be open from 10.00am and the stadium will open at 10.30am, with bars and food outlets open immediately. Games will begin at 11.30am on both days of the event, with live music from Reckless until late on the Saturday evening. The World Cup Quarter Final between England and Sweden will be shown in the Exeter Suite at 3.00pm.
