Food Drink Devon Awards return to Sandy Park

The annual Food Drink Devon Awards returned to Sandy Park to celebrate the good and great of the industry.

A total 450 guests were wined and dined in the Exeter Suite with 90 per cent of the produce used by Sandy Park’s chefs for the four-course banqueting menu provided by Food Drink Devon’s local suppliers.

The aim of the 13th year of the awards was to recognise quality, sustainability and provenance, with winners recognised from the hospitality, retailer, training and producer sectors, plus a section dedicated to sustainability pioneers.

Ali Neagle, office and awards manager, said: "On behalf of us all here at Food Drink Devon thank you so much for hosting our event. We were looked after extremely well, and everyone agreed that the food was absolutely delicious."

Jack Pickering, Food Drink Devon board director, added: “Thank you so much for all of your hard work to make our event so successful. Your team is incredible. Poetry in motion!”
