Trade Show Delivers for RD Johns Food Service

Customers from across the region were given an insight into the ever-expanding product range now been offered by RD Johns Food Service.

For the second successive year, the Newton Abbot-based company returned to the multi-million pound Sandy Park Conference & Events Centre in Exeter to showcase a number of their new and existing line to clients.

Serving the South West for over 40 years, the well-established catering business are on hand to deliver a comprehensive range of top quality brand names of frozen, chilled and ambient foods, together with fresh meats, all of which are available for next day delivery.

With over 75 exhibitors on show, RD Johns welcomed customers throughout the day-long event, which was extended this year to include more suppliers.

“Days like this are very important for the business,” explained Faye Fellows of RD Johns. “It’s our chance to not only work with our suppliers, showing what they can offer our customers, but it’s a great opportunity for us to engage face-to-face with our customers as well.

“Sandy Park is a fantastic venue for us as not only does it offer huge space to accommodate all the different exhibitors, but it’s in a prime location for our customers who come from all over Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset.”

As well as the many exhibitor stands on show, there were also regular butchery demonstrations and the chance for customers to sample from a wide range of products on show.

“This year was our biggest Trade Show yet and the feedback we’ve received from everyone who has come along has been hugely positive.”
